Fans of the old school hip-hop collective the Native Tongues that included the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Black Sheep, the Jungle Brothers, and Queen Latifah will be happy to hear that a few members have reemerged.

Dres from Black Sheep and Jarobi White of Tribe premiered on Allhiphop.com Thursday the video for "P.T.I. (Occupy Wall St.)," the first release from their new group, Evitan, which is Native spelled backwards.

The video shot on location amongst protestors in New York includes footage of a police officer stopping them from taping in a particular location. The song offers a nostalgic dose of boom-bap hip-hop and moving lyrics.

Venting about his frustrations about the state of the economy, Dres raps, "We won't be a whore to the system as is, we the masses standing up to the greedy asses."

Dres explained what motivated them to make the song. "The 99 percent need to have not just a voice, but voices," he said in a statement. "We need to have more voices that speak to our plight beyond what is given to us via the media."
