Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ Prompted Wardrobe Malfunction For Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton

Former Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton, who is a diehard Michael Jackson fan, once had a wardrobe malfunction while partying to one of the late King of Pop's biggest hits.

"I ripped a hole in my dress dancing to 'Billie Jean' in the car," she revealed during a recent interview with Yahoo! Music's web series The Aftermath.

Thornton, who released her solo mixtape P.O.Y.B.L. in March, said she "didn't do so well" when Jackson died on June 25, 2009.

"Before he passed away we were on tour and I would be like, 'Man, I'm tellin' y'all, check me into a psyc ward if something happens to that man,'" she said.

Thornton discussed Jackson during a The Aftermath segment about her favorite three songs. In addition to "Billie Jean," Thornton included on her list early 1960's classics from Jackie Wilson ("My Empty Arms") and Ben E. King ("Stand By Me").
