T'yanna WallaceToday is the 15th anniversary of the passing of hip hop great The Notorious B.I.G. B.I.G.'s daughter, T'yanna Wallace, and her mother, Jan Jackson, recently appeared on Hot 97 in New York for a radio interview.

T'yanna is an 18-year-old freshman at Pennsylvania State University where she studies Business and aspires to have her own fashion line.

T'yanna, who was 3-years-old when B.I.G. died, said she does not have any memories of her father, but is thankful for all of the stories she has been told by her mother, stepmother Faith Evans, and grandmother.

"They have talked about him enough over the time, I feel like I know the stories," T'yanna told Hot 97.

Jan JacksonThe humble teen said that while her father's earnings have provided her a "pretty nice lifestyle" she believes in making a way for herself and has a part-time job on campus.

"I work at the school cafeteria. It's like work study. I don't need a job, but I honestly, I'm independent like her," she said, pointing to her mother. "And feel like if I want extra pocket money I don't feel like I should have to call anyone and be like, 'Can I transfer …' No, I'll just make my own money."

T'yanna's mother Jan, also shared good stories. She remembered getting a call from Biggie just hours before he was killed after a "Soul Train Awards" after party. And she talked about her relationships with B.I.G.'s exes Faith Evans, Lil Kim and Charlie Baltimore.

"I call her my wife-in-law," Jan said about Faith. "I can't even imagine what the structure would be without her in the picture."

In the lyrics for Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy," below, he refers to T'yanna, when he rhymes about "putting 5 carats in his baby girl's ears."
