StupidGirls" has been online since November.
Pink wrapped the brief parody by gyrating on the stage justas Beyonce does in the viral hit.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of the "Single Ladies" video either.I never got the hype.
I do think that Beyonce needs to put on some clothes andstop using her body to sell her music.
It really is hard to take her seriously when she is rollingaround on the stage half naked.
I guess since Pink was performing the 2006 song, it madesense to modernize it. And Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video was definitely theditzy, salacious talk of the last year.
Still, lumping Beyonce under the "Stupid Girls" umbrella isa harsh, and opportunist move on Pink's park.
As other blogs have pointed out, Pink was just giving Beyonceprops for coming to Taylor Swift's defense after the Kanye West fiasco at the Video Music Awards where "SingleLadies" was named Video Of The Year.
So how did Beyonce go from "classy" to "Stupid Girl" in amatter of months?
I like Pink a lot. I like her music, and I like herattitude. She is a spitfire, and she says what is on her mind even if itoffends people.
But I have to question a person's motivation when theyappear to start controversy just to get attention.
I got a kick out of her tweets attacking Kanye for ruining Taylor's moment.
But in this Beyonce instance, I think Pink was just lookingfor another way to get people to talk about her show.
