Snoop Dogg Proudly Sports Gray Patch At EA Sports Super Bowl Party

    Follow me on Facebook, Twitter.

Snoop DoggThe rap charts might be dominated by artists under the age of 30, but elder statesmen Snoop Dogg doesn't have any problem embracing being a member of the genre's 40 and over club.

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper revealed a small gray patch of hair just above his forehead Friday when he took the stage at 1:47 a.m. as the surprise guest at the EA Sports Madden Bowl at the Bud Light Hotel in Indianapolis.

Before closing his set, he thanked the audience for embracing him over the years. "My thing is, the older I get, the younger I feel," he said. "Right now, I feel young, wild, and free."

He followed his comment with the performance of his song "Young, Wild & Free," a duet with Wiz Khalifa that appears on the soundtrack of their film "High School." The Long Beach, California native's 45-minute set included many of his big hits: "Who Am I (What's My Name?)," "Still D.R.E.," "Drop It Like Its Hot" and "Ain't Nothin' But A G Thang."

The Madden Bowl also featured performances from Nas, The Roots, and Mick Boogie.

If Snoop's show focused more on the party vibe, Nas's time on stage was more introspective. The meaning behind his songs resonated with the audience in a manner that uplifted and excited the crowd. The attendants went wild when Nas played "I Can" that boasts children chanting, "I know I can be all I wanna be. If I work hard at it, I'll be where I want to be."

Nas received the same reaction for other hits, his collaboration with Lauryn Hill "If I Ruled The World," "New York State Of Mind," "The World Is Yours," "Hate Me Now," and "One Mic." The Roots impressed with their musicianship. Their 15-minute run of "You Got Me" took clever R&B and rock detours.

The pre-Super Bowl appearances continue in Indy, culminating in a 50 Cent and Pitbull performance Saturday night at the Bud Light Hotel. Tune in to watch it live on Yahoo!.

I can understand. That hair dye is messy and staining splatters on my bathroom wall paint and fixtures, and also irritates the heck out of your skin. At least for me.I guess at some point i'll let it all go.

There is a brother that loiters in front of the liquor store on 34th and 1st in Manhattan that looks just like this fool. Snoop looks like he may be missing some teeth. How much longer can he keep up this clown act? It must be exhausting.
