Here are two live performances and two interviews that any hardcore fan should enjoy revisiting. The performances, "Helena" and "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," were shot at the Yahoo! Studios in 2005, just before the band was poised to break out into super-stardom with magnum opus Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, which had been released the year before.
The first interview was also captured in 2005, and took place at a comic-book store in Los Angeles, where the guys discussed the influence of comics on their music (frontman Gerard Way is an accomplished writer in the genre). The second interview was shot at the band's record label in Burbank, California, in 2010--right before what would ultimately be their last studio album, Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, was released.
Goodbye, MCR--you'll be missed.
