The Von Bondies at Bat Bar: 3.7 out of 5

Good set, great songs, shame about the disconnect caused by the camera crew and vast stage.

 

Katzenjammer at Rio Grande: 4.3

Ostensibly "folk," actually awesome. Great fun--bouncy, crazy, cute Norwegians.

 

Gomez at Stubb's: 4.0

Lush, superb sound and great songs show why they have such a strong fanbase.

 

Amanda Palmer at Central Presbyterian Church: 4.6

Achingly beautiful songs, delivered by a witty, endearing Palmer.

 

Fight Like Apes at Rio Grande: 3.7

Frenetic, energetic indietronic. Shame their energy was sapped a bit by the lame audience.
