Everything Is Illuminated in Ellie Goulding's "Goodness Gracious" Video

Blacklights, LEDs and everything for your glow needs, Ellie Goulding's latest video "Goodness Gracious" is the perfect respite from the astonishingly cold weather ravaging the country. Goulding's contagiously upbeat track either enrage our chilly citizens with jealousy at the invert-colored palm trees and liberal use of shorts, or transport them to a better, brighter time. We're thinking the latter.

But the real takeaway for us is those AMAZE light up shoes Goulding is rocking! We've seen plenty of pairs L.A. Gear's L.A. Lights in our days (owned them in the '90s!), but never shoes that illuminated the entire bottoms like some kind of kickass hovercraft.

A quick Yahoo search revealed that inventor A.J. Catalano created something close to Ellie's shoes. For a mere $500, SOLElites light-up soles can be attached to the bottom of any shoeoh the possibilities! Perhaps most notably, Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am rocked them attached to some Hussein Chalayan for Puma sneaks for his glow-tastic American Music Awards performance in 2011.

So while you're hiding from a seriously dangerous weather pattern with a seriously rad name, fend off the "polar vortex" (it's like a hurricane/cyclone of frigid air, SO COOL) with some blacklight bedroom dancing with Ellie Goulding. And maybe get those Amazon drones to deliver some glow sticks.
