Move on over, Miley, Macklemore, and Maroon 5. There's a musical group out there that's put all of you to shame, sales-wise, in 2013 -- and it may not be who you expect! The wildly talented ensemble of elementary-school-aged singers in the beloved kids' music franchise, Kidz Bop, have pretty much claimed this world as their own (and other stars are just living in it): Last year, they sold more than a million records, and have just debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with their latest release, Kidz Bop 25.
Of course, if you happen to have a kid of your own running around the house, this will come as no surprise to you. The series, which was launched in 2001, has a near magical power to entrance little ones with its versions of popular hits "sung by kids for kids." The latest set includes takes on Lorde's "Royals," Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" and a slew of other hits that are totes family-friendly.
We at Yahoo Music are stoked to offer the first look at the Kidz Bop take on Capital Cities' "Safe And Sound." If you can watch this cute clip without a smile on your face, we have no hope for you!
