Where’s Harry? 1D Member's Mystery Absence at BRIT Awards
There was no competition against the international powerhouse that is One Direction for the Global Success Award at the 2014 Brit Awards. But that didn't guarantee 1D member Harry Styles was on time for their acceptance speech.

You'd think getting an award on live British television from one of the most beautiful women in the world, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, would be enough to ensure all members were present and accounted for to collect their prize. But when One Direction filed on stage, even Niall Horan's crutches (from major knee surgery in January) couldn't distract from the fact that the group's most popular member was missing.
Liam Payne immediately asked, "Has anyone see a curly-headed one? Right, well there's four of us now." As the rest of the boys gave their usual thanks to their fans, Styles ran through the crowd and up the stage just in time, giving a bow and wave at his arrival.

Then he explained his mystery absence.
Styles panted, "I'm really sorry, I was having a wee. The toilets are ages away." He then, in earnest, whispered to his bandmates, "What did we win?" Luckily, Payne quickly got him up to speed and Styles gave the fans a still-confused, yet adequate thanks.
Somehow, we don't think they minded.
The boys went on to win another shoo-in category, the British Video Award for "Best Song Ever," which was voted by Twitter fans. This time, it was Payne who had a little trouble with the acceptance, saying, "I've had a few drinks, so Niall, do you want to take over here?" as he handed the glowing disc to Horan.
A few drinks at a glitzy awards show? Standard procedure. But running to the 'loo during your win? Major faux pas.
