Frankie Ballard can easily claim the honor of being one of the fastest-rising country stars of 2011. In a mere 12 months, the relative newcomer managed to rack up enough notches on his resume to make any aspiring Nashville musician greener than a Christmas tree--some of these highlights including a debut on the Grand Ole Opry, and opening slots on both Taylor Swift's and Bob Seger's tours (how's that for diversity?).
Ballard's not stopping yet, though; not even long enough to wrap presents. He's still in full swing promoting his self-titled debut album--in fact, he'll be appearing on national TV for the very first time December 22, performing his single "A Buncha Girls" on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
