The entire debut season of NBC's talent competition show The Voice has been a treat for country fans, due to--of course--celeb coach Blake Shelton's starring role. However, on Tuesday night, country music aficionados got an extra-special goody: Brad Paisley showed up to perform on the program!
Still not special enough for ya? Well, I'll make it better--Shelton jumped in to duet with him! The pair, fittingly, paired up for "Don't Drink The Water," their collaboration which appears on Paisley's album This Is Country Music.
The audience was enthusiastic to see Paisley on stage, but really got to roaring when Shelton sprang out of his coach's chair and began singing along. In a funny touch, Shelton changed the lyric "They've got some sweet senoritas" to "They've got sweet little Christinas," playfully referring to his costar and fellow coach Christina Aguilera. See for yourselves!
Wednesday's finale for The Voice will pack in yet another must-watch moment for country fans. Shelton's wife and fellow Nashville superstar, Miranda Lambert, will perform with finalist (and Team Blake member) Dia Frampton. Be sure to tune in, as the winner of the series will also be announced. The show airs at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
Are you on Team Dia? Be sure to let me know!
As always, be sure to:
