Carrie Underwood: A Not-So-Sinful Bachelorette In Sin City

How does Carrie Underwood throw a bachelorette party? Well, like everything else having to do with her wedding planning--she went with laid-back, fun, and traditional. In other words: Las Vegas girlfriends' weekend.

Various sources, including the Los Angeles Times, E! Online, and PEOPLE, confirmed that Underwood kept her celebration on the mild side (well, as far as Vegas goes). After arriving in town the weekend of June 26, she and a handful of buddies showed up at Lavo on Saturday night--which is Vegas's latest celebrity hotspot located at the Palazzo resort. There, the group donned feather boas, sipped cocktails, and "goofed around." Underwood reportedly wore a sash marking her as the bride-to-be, but by all accounts, she otherwise kept a fairly low profile.

Underwood's fiance, hockey star Mike Fisher, had what sounded like a much more wild time in Miami the previous weekend for his bachelor bash. Gossips reported Fisher's group of pals were tossing back shots and getting crunk in the drop to music provided by DJ Lil Jon. However, Fisher himself apparently behaved decorously, letting his guests have all (well, most) of the fun.

Rumors are swirling that Underwood and Fisher are set to tie the knot on July 10. Underwood will be taking a break from her North American tour after July 4, and won't be hitting the road again until July 31, so the timing does make sense. We'll see what happens!

In other country bride-to-be news, the newly engaged Kellie Pickler tweeted today that she's starting to compile wedding ideas: "looking through a pile of wedding magazines. lots to do...but so exciting!"

We think so, too. Can't wait for all the weddings to begin!

On that note: Do you think Carrie and Mike will, indeed, be getting married next weekend? Be sure to let me know.

As always, be sure to:
