Carrie Underwood Announces Release Date For New Album

Guess what? Carrie Underwood's eagerly anticipated fourth album still does not have a title. But--it finally has a release date!

Underwood's new record will drop on May 1. As reported last month, the first single "Good Girl" is set to hit radio on February 23. The album will be produced by Mark Bright, who is credited on Underwood's first three albums as well. New music from Carrie on the way

As one might expect, the release of one of 2012's most awaited discs means a packed promotional schedule...and Underwood definitely has that going on already in advance. Just this month alone, she'll be appearing on CMT Crossroads with Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, as well as the 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Also slated for February is her participation in Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, and a performance at the Nordstrom Nashville Symphony Fashion Show.

Speaking of the Grammy Awards, those will be held February 12 and Underwood is nominated in the Best Country Solo Performance category for "Mama's Song." She's already got five Grammy Awards under her belt to date.

Are you looking forward to Carrie's new record? Be sure to let me know!
