Carrie Underwood Joins The Mile-High Club?

So, you've probably heard that not only is American Idol Carrie Underwood engaged, she's also keeping busy with diversifiying her career while working on wedding planning. In fact, she's making her first foray into the world of sitcom acting, with a guest appearance on the show How I Met Your Mother.

This morning, HIMYM regular Neil Patrick Harris decided to give everyone a sneak peek into Carrie's role. He took to his Twitter account and posted the following pic, with the notation: "This week's awesome guest star: HIMYM--You'll Love The Way We Fly!"

Lawdy, lawdy--is that Carrie in a stewardess (er, flight attendant, sorry) outfit? Anyway, loving the retro beehive, go-go boots, and scarf. The '60s thing really suits her--perhaps she should consider a Jackie Kennedy-esque style for her wedding gown?

Anyway, just had to drop in and share. Can't wait to see if her acting is as tasty as her appearance in this funky little number, but we'll all have to wait a few weeks more. The episode isn't set to air until March.

Looking forward to seeing Carrie on TV again? Let me know what you think.
