Hear Exclusive Preview From Dwight Yoakam’s New Album, ’3 Pears’

Dwight YoakamIt's to be forgiven if you, like me, are a just a little jazzed about Dwight Yoakam's new album, 3 Pears, which will be hitting the streets on September 18. After all, it's been way too long since the legendary Yoakam has released a set of new material--his last being Blame The Vain all the way back in 2005.

Add to that fact that early critical acclaim for Yoakam's record is already through the roof...and that he's enlisted amazing talents such as alt-hero/genius Beck to help out with production...and, well, the song we're about to preview has to just be about one of the most amazeballs (pardon the term) sneak peeks a country music--or just music!--fan can get a hold of in 2012. Check back with me in January, but I think you'll agree.

Yahoo! Music and Ram Country are digging this preview of the ballad "Long Way To Go" and we're sure you'll feel the same. If you'd like to preorder the record, options are available on iTunes or Amazon. Be sure to let me know what you think of Dwight's new tune!
