The release of Lady Antebellum's much-anticipated third album, Own The Night, is less than two months away. It'll hit stores September 13, but in the meantime, the Grammy-winning trio is excited to unveil a treat for fans...the album cover art!
This record--the follow-up to 2010's multiplatinum smash Need You Now--promises to be as big a deal for Lady A as for their fans. Out of the 12 songs on the album, the band wrote 10 themselves (including current single "Just A Kiss"). You can see the full tracklisting here.
"We're definitely more in tune with each other musically and personally than ever," noted Lady A's Dave Haywood on their official site, adding that the vibe surrounding the album is definitely exciting. "With Own The Night, more than ever before, I think we share a real feeling of accomplishment both as a band and as friends."
It's a very busy period for Lady Antebellum this summer. In addition to being on tour and getting ready for the new album launch, singer Hillary Scott just celebrated her engagement to boyfriend Chris Tyrell a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, she also had to weather some sad news shortly after--the band rescheduled its Toledo show on July 15 due to the death of Scott's grandmother.
What do you think of the new Lady A album art? Hey--I'm looking forward to hearing the album! Let me know what's on your minds.
