Little Big Town Reschedules Shows, TV Appearance, After Family Death

Little Big Town (Photo: Taylor Hill)Our condolences go out to the members of Little Big Town, who notified fans Monday that there has been a death in one of their immediate families. Due to the loss, the band has canceled two upcoming California concert dates.

"Sadly, the Little Big Town family has suffered a loss in their immediate family and will have to cancel their upcoming concerts in Riverside, CA (11/28) and Los Angeles, CA (11/29)," reads a post on the LBT Facebook page. "Riverside, CA will be rescheduled at a later date and the Los Angeles show at The Wiltern will now take place on February 8, 2013. Tickets for The Wiltern show will be honored on the rescheduled night."

"The band would like to thank their fans for their understanding and compassion during this very difficult time," they noted.

Additionally Little Big Town was scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno Tuesday, but has also canceled this appearance.

It hasn't been clarified which member of the quartet suffered the family loss. One fan's post on LBT's Facebook account offers Phillip Sweet condolences on the death of his grandmother, but this has not been confirmed as of posting.

Little Big Town will resume touring December 1 in Charlotte, N.C., then will take a break until after Christmas. They'll then be on the road until May, and are scheduled to join Keith Urban in July on his 2013 North American tour.
