Think that love and work are a bad mix? Not these country musicians who found true romance on the job — specifically, meeting their significant others during the filming of music videos.
Take Brad Paisley. He had long harbored a crush on "Father of the Bride" actress Kimberly Williams — so he decided to make a big move. The singer phoned her camp in 2002, asking if she would like to be in the video for his hit "I'm Gonna Miss Her."
"When I called, I definitely had other motives," Brad recalled in a Washington Post interview. Williams agreed to appear — and the rest is a happily ever after. The two have been married now for more than a decade, and are parents to two young sons.
Then there's Jake Owen — who first hit it off with model Lacey Buchanan after she starred in the video for his "8 Second Ride." However, the two didn't start dating until a few years later, when Jake cast her again in another video — this time for his hit "Barefoot Blue Jean Night."
And it's not just country guys who have found love on-set. Jennifer Nettles met her husband, Justin Miller, when he was in the 2006 video for Sugarland's "Want To." The two went on to date — and surprised fans in November 2011 when they announced they had gotten married in the Smoky Mountains over Thanksgiving weekend. A year later, they celebrated the arrival of their first son, Magnus.
