Ready for some fresh music from country's currently hottest gal? The wait is over--Miranda Lambert announced on Friday that she will be putting out a new album this fall.
Lambert, who spread the news via an appearance on Good Morning America ("I've been waiting so long to announce this!" she gushed) will release Four The Record on November 1. Her last album, Revolution, was released in 2009.
In more exciting news for fans, she also noted that she may include her husband, Blake Shelton, as a collaborator on the new record. Although Lambert has paired up with Shelton before (on "Draggin' The River" off his 2010 All About Tonight album), the couple has not recorded together yet for any of Lambert's projects.
Lambert, who performed as part of Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series in New York City's Central Park, also discussed her recent wedding to Shelton. So what is newlywed life like for two extremely busy country superstars? "Hectic, but it's working out," she acknowledged.
The Grammy-winning singer also introduced and performed with her all-girl trio, Pistol Annies, who will be releasing their first album August 23.
Can you wait for Miranda's new album? I know I'll be counting down the days! Be sure to let me know what you think!
As always, be sure to:
