Miranda Lambert Named On People’s ‘Most Beautiful Women’ List

People may have crowned pop star Beyoncé their official Most Beautiful Woman of 2012, but she's not the only musician to make the magazine's coveted list. Joining Bey on the A-list is country's own Miranda Lambert, who was the only other career singer to make the top 10 list.Miranda Lambert

Lambert is in luminous company, accompanied by such lovelies as Sofia Vergara, Michelle Williams, Christina Hendricks, and Dutchess Kate Middleton. However, People chose to spotlight Lambert's charmingly "everygirl" nature, choosing a quote she gave to Health in 2011: "I'm representing normal girls. It's OK to have a little bit of curve. I'm happy with my body. So many girls come up to me and say, 'Thank you for being normal,' and I'm proud of that."

Lambert's inclusion in the special issue is no doubt endorsed by her husband Blake Shelton, who himself has been the subject of several "hot" magazine issues this year (Cosmopolitan and Redbook among them). Together, they make quite the handsome couple, no?

People's Most Beautiful Women issue will hit newsstands on Friday. Do you agree that Lambert should have been country's ambassador for this honor, or should another beauty have been chosen? Be sure to let me know what you think!
