More Taylors Than You Can Shake A Stick At!

We've got quite a Taylor Swift-packed week this week (but, what week isn't full of Taylor news?). The big story today is that she's joined the cast of the romantic-comedy film Valentine's Day--an already star-overflowing vehicle featuring (deep breath)...Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Julia Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Patrick Dempsey, Topher Grace, Eric Dane, Shirley MacLaine, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah...(exhale).

Oh, and fellow teen royalty Taylor Lautner, hunk from the Twilight series who's been linked with Swift buddy Selena Gomez. He reportedly plays opposite T. Swift in the flick. If you run across any "Taylor Lautner caught macking with Taylor Swift" headlines while surfing--don't get too excited--it's just part of the script.

All in all though, we are willing to bet that the Swift/Lautner pairing is going to be a whole lot cuter to look at than the proposed Swift/Jack White collaboration we discussed earlier this week.

And, a lot more plausible (despite being, well, fake) than the other current hot rumor in Countryland--Kenny Chesney being responsible, at least partly anyway, for breaking up Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. Not buying that one over here, even without Kenny's assertion that he never dreamed of coming on to Ms. Simpson. (She doesn't seem his type, really, does she? I mean, Renee Zellweger was blonde and all, but still...)

Speaking of such comparisons. Valentine's Day is not our favorite Taylor story of the week. May all the powers in Nashville and the Disney Channel have mercy on us for mentioning this, but in our daily combing of Country highlights, we came across an absolutely hilarious, albeit tasteless, spoof piece making, uh, distinctions between the, uh, physical assets of Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift. We are willing to bet Ms. Parton and Ms. Swift both would probably find it pretty funny...Hey, Blake Shelton probably would too! But we won't be responsible for guiding anyone to the piece.

Instead, we'll just say tsk-tsk to SOME folks out there for managing to dream up such debauchery! And we'll be wrapping our heads around the squee-inducing innocent prospect of "what if Taylor and Taylor REALLY DO FALL IN LOVE?" instead!

Valentine's Day will be coming out February 2010. Are you excited to see the Double T on the big screen? Let us know what you think. (Oh, and hey, if you really think Kenny and Jessica are an item--feel free to comment on that as well.)

As always, be sure to:
