Can Taylor Swift Out-Beatbox LL Cool J? See Here!

Taylor Swift is a country girl at heart, but she's been known to flirt with other genres way out of that ballpark (her Speak Now tour last year included duets with T.I., Nicki Minaj, and B.o.B, among others). However, there's one vocal style that we haven't heard her do yet.

In a spot for the upcoming 2012 Grammy Awards, Swift joins legendary rapper and NCIS actor LL Cool J to try her hand--er, pipes--at beatboxing.

The blond superstar puts on her best 'tude to keep up with LL, complete with attempts at scratching noises and clicks. The results? Pretty darned cute...although LL does nearly fall down laughing at her efforts.

This is one of several humorous commercials Swift and LL Cool J have produced to promote the Grammys. (You can see them all here.) She is performing on the show and is up for three awards, including Country Album of the Year, while he is handling hosting duties for the evening--this marks the first time in seven years the program has had a dedicated host.

Swift's already the proud owner of four Grammy Awards, while LL has two of his own.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS live from Los Angeles's Staples Center Feburary 12, at 8 p.m. ET.
