The Hunger Games hits theaters at the end of this week, and the soundtrack will be in fans' hands on Tuesday. One of these fans is on the soundtrack herself--none other than Taylor Swift, who contributed two songs and actually performed one live for the first time last week.
Swift live in Auckland
Swift chose her Auckland, New Zealand date to debut "Eyes Open," her second tune for the movie (the first is "Safe And Sound," her collaboration with the Civil Wars).
"You don't think I'd get in trouble if I played it now...probably not, right? So what do you think?" Swift teased the crowd, who responded with ear-splitting shrieks.
She then launched into an energetic acoustic rendition of the tune, ending with a big smile and "Do you like it?" Judging by the response, I'd say everyone did like it, very much! Watch for yourselves:
The Hunger Games soundtrack will also feature country-music power from Miranda Lambert and the Pistol Annies.
What do you think of "Eyes Open"? Be sure to let me know your thoughts!
