Taylor Swift’s Making It Official With ‘Great Love Of Her Life’–Diet Coke!

Taylor Swift (Photo: Francois G. Durand)Aside from her musical talent, Taylor Swift is an astute businesswoman—the superstar has landed partnerships with major brands Cover Girl and Keds…and now, she’s teaming up with yet another huge name. It has just been announced that the superstar will be the face of soft-drink giant Diet Coke.

Swift posted a video on Sunday in which she talked about how she’s “making it official” with “one of the great loves of my life”—well, all we can say is, this looks like a relationship that will actually last!

According to Ad Age, Coke’s marketing plan for Swift hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s anticipated she will become a brand ambassador (much as Beyonce serves for Pepsi). Swift alluded to tie-ins with her upcoming tour, as well as a commercial shoot. Fans who want to keep up with the partnership can “like” Diet Coke’s Facebook page for updates.

Swift’s endorsement seems to be a genuine one, as she actually has been a longtime fan of the cola—in an interview with Bon Appetit last year, she noted it as one of six items always in her refrigerator. In her typical quirky fashion, she informed the magazine that the soda “understands me.”
