Tim McGraw Named ‘Best Dressed Country Guy’ For 2011

So...who would you choose as the most fashionable country male of the year? If you're having a bit of a dilemma wondering which hat-sporting (or otherwise) musician should earn the honor, Country Weekly has made it easy--the magazine has just named Tim McGraw the best-dressed country guy of 2011.

"Let's just say some things--some styles and some looks--improve with age," CW notes. "And now, the highly styled, always-dapper country and movie star is a handsome example of that."Tim McGraw

Country Weekly's roundup of sharp-dressed men also includes Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Chris Young. The magazine shamelessly admits the list is tallied in a rather non-scientific fashion: "[Our editor] looks at pics of country hunks and goes, 'Oh, WOW! He's hot! Yummy! Holy smokes!'" (Not a bad job to have, eh? Although I am sure she has other duties that are not quite as fun.)

Personally, although I love Tim, my best-dressed vote has to go to Blake Shelton, who over the past few years has morphed from a mullet-sportin' good ol' boy into a subtly edgy heartthrob even my most adamantly country-hating girlfriends have a crush on. And, he did it with integrity...the man even got married in Levis!

Oh--if you're wondering, Country Weekly also named their best-dressed gal of the year. Not surprisingly, it's the preternaturally beautiful Carrie Underwood. (My choice? Taylor Swift, whose sense of personal style is unusually well-developed for a 22-year-old--and whose fresh, feminine choices from designers such as Contrarian and Ted Baker rarely hit a sour note.)

So, let's have a little fun at the end of the year. Who's your choice for best-dressed man and woman of 2011, country-style? Be sure to let me know!
