You Too Can Smell Like Faith Hill!

Remember that infamous perfume commercial from the '70s, for Enjoli--the woman in question could bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan (oh--and never, ever let you forget you're a man...right)?

Today's version of that: Faith Hill. The gal can cast her NFL picks each week, whip up snacks for the game (and release a cookbook sharing the recipes), PLUS release a new perfume to boot. Now that's a woooooman!

Faith's officially joined the ranks of celebrities touting a signature fragrance for the masses this week--a group which includes Shania Twain, Jessica Simpson, and her own hubby Tim McGraw. She's also launched a full website for her fragrance enterprise, which debuted in its entirety today and offers some exclusive content for fans, including a "weekly webisode" which fans can sign up to and "join the conversation." This week Faith's discussion topic is "the beauty of being a wooooooman," er, woman. (See, like I told you--Enjoli for the 21st century!)

The scent, officially called Faith Hill Parfums, is being offered at Target, Kohls, Walmart, Meijer, and a variety of drugstore chains. I have not actually smelled it yet, but will see if I can catch a whiff on my CVS run this afternoon. What stood out to me most just observing the fragrance is its packaging--with its elegantly minimalist bottle, black ribbon, and all-caps/no-frills font, it bears a somewhat striking resemblance to Marc Jacobs' original scent.

Take a look at the two fragrances (Faith's above, Marc's below) and see if you agree?

At any rate, I'm sure there will be plenty of gals out there who are going to charm their boys by cooking up some nachos for the Titans game this weekend, smelling mighty nice overtop of all those onions. If the perfume is as effective on the male sex as football and food, I'm sure Faith's going to have another successful endeavor on her hands.

As always, be sure to:
