Last night, part 2 of "American Idol's" Green Mile episode aired, with all top 24 semifinalists finally announced. Of course, as you all know by now, there was a "twist": a 13th mystery contestant added at the last minute to the boys' top 12, though we won't know until Tuesday if that extra slot will go to hunky waiter Johnny Keyser, controversial cowboy Richie Law, gentle giant Jermaine Jones, or (probably) boy wonder David Leathers Jr.
Today, as my "Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I prepare for next week's first Season 11 live shows, we try to predict who that 13th boy will be; discuss some of our favorite (and not-so-favorite) semifinalists; and debate some perplexing developments, like the shocking lack of R&B (read: African-American) singers in this year's top 24 and the abundance of repeat auditioners from previous seasons.
Feel free to add to the debate by chiming in on the message board below!
