American Idol, The Day After: Top 7 Dish

Last night, "American Idol's" top seven finalists sang songs of THIS DECADE (can you believe it?), and it was certainly a refreshing change of pace for a series that often leans heavily on oldies by everyone from Elton John and Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra and Pat Boone. (Okay, there's never been an actual Pat Boone Night, but I wouldn't put it past Nigel Lythgoe.) It was a fun and fresh episode, and today, my "Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I are totally feeling the modern love.

Watch us dish about last night's performances and our predictions for tonight's results in the thoroughly modern video above--and feel free to chime in with your own thoughts on the message board below!
