American Idol, The Day After: Hollywood Week Round 3 Dish

Hollywood Week continued apace Thursday night--and while there was still plenty of drama (thanks mainly to this season's resident eccentric, Ashley Sullivan, who bizarrely keeps scraping through), there were also many amazing performances. Casey Abrams!! Jacob Lusk!! Carson Higgins!! Julie Zorrilla!! Ashthon Jones!! Colton Dixon!! The list, and the exclamation points, go on...

In today's edition of "The Day After," my Yahoo! Entertainment colleague Matt Whitfield and I break it all down for you. Will Casey make the top 10? Is Ashton's "Dreamgirls" cover better than Norman Gentle's? Why are lyric-flubbers like Ashley Sullivan and Scotty McCreery still in the running, but Rob Bolin is not? Where have the producers been hiding Colton Dixon, and is his fauxhawk as good as Sanjaya's? And where the heck is Paul McDonald already?
