  • Sarah in the kitchen [photo: Justin Goode]"American Idol" Season 10 alum and food blogger Sarah Sellers has been posting her viewing-party snack recipes in Reality Rocks for two "Idol" seasons now, and she's back to get your mouth watering on every night of Season 12, starting this week.

Last night, for the big premiere, she whipped up Italian pinwheels in honor of kickoff audition city New York's famous Italian cuisine--and tonight, for the Chicago auditions, she's keeping things spicy. "Since Chicago and NYC both represent Italian food and pizza, I thought I would play off both city's similarities and utilize some of the same ingredients for both recipes," she explains.

So scrape together last night's leftovers, reheat that oven, and get ready for another spicy two-hour "Idol" viewing marathon with this hearty Chi-Town fare!

  • photo: ABC Family"So You Think You Can Dance" won't return to the airwaves until this summer, but thankfully, "SYTYCD" diehards have been tided over lately by a slew of guest TV appearances by "SYTYCD" alums. This past Monday, reigning co-champions Chehon Wespi-Tschopp and Eliana Girard and judges Mary Murphy and Tyce Diorio made cameos on Fox's "Bones," and that same night, Season 5 winner Jeanine Mason made her debut in a recurring role on ABC Family's beloved "Bunheads." (Jeanine is the second "SYTYCD" star to appear on "Bunheads," following Season 7 runner-up Kent Boyd last year.)

And now, Jeanine fans eager to see the Season 5 stunner return to the small screen don't have to wait until next Monday's "Bunheads" episode, as Reality Rocks has an exclusive preview clip right here. In the scene, Truly Stone (Stacey Oristano) has been kicked out of her dress shop by her landlord and has therefore taken over the Paradise Dance Academy studio--so Jeanine's character, Cozette, decides to make the crowded studio work, dancing among the boxes and with the mannequins. Naturally, adorableness ensues...reminding us all why Jeanine is still one of America's favorite dancers after winning that title almost five years ago.

  • photo: FoxEven the most casual "American Idol" viewer knows all about the months-long feud/publicity campaign leading up to this Wednesday's premiere of "Idol" Season 12, starring new alpha-female judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. The "leaked" TMZ video of their on-set war of (four-letter) words. Mariah's subsequent claim, to Barbara Walters, of Nicki-administered death threats and the need for beefed-up security. Nasty Nigel Lythgoe, "Idol's" executive producer, telling reporters that hapless new middle judge Keith Urban will serve as the "scratching post" in this TV catfight. Yes, before Season 12 even began, this show looked like "The Real Housewives Of Idol," or "Idol Shore," or "Bad Judges' Club." Was this really the new direction for this formerly feelgood, family-friendly program?

Well, now that Season 12's first full episode has finally aired, the answer to that burning question seems to be...yes and no. "When you add three incredibly passionate performers to the panel,
