Last night, the top four competed on "The Voice" semifinal, and interestingly, tonight, only ONE of them will go home. Yes, contrary to previous rumors, reports, and assumptions, it seems that the Season 3 finale next week will be a showdown between three finalists, not two, and today, my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I have a few conspiracy theories as to why the show's format may have been tweaked at the last minute.

Matt and I also discuss our opinions of last night's four performances by Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David, Cassadee Pope, and Terry McDermott; our shared prediction regarding who's getting eliminated tonight; and more predictions about all four contestants' musical futures in general. Enjoy!

"The Voice" tore a page from "American Idol's" classic playbook this week, sending each of the final four contestants on homecoming trips filled with ticker-tape parades, family reunions, emotional visits to old stomping grounds, and heroes' welcomes. Seriously, I half-expected to hear Phillip Phillips's "Home" playing in the background at times.

But the episode also took cues from "Blake Shelton's Not-So-Family Christmas," with all 16 Team Blake members reuniting for a "White Christmas" singalong (hi, Suzanna Choffel!!!), and both of Blake's remaining contestants, Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott, getting prime placement and closing the show. Meanwhile, poor Team Cee Lo contestants Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David were forced to sing first. Immediately I started conspiracy-theorizing, wondering if NBC execs wanted to ensure a Blake victory, so he doesn't get disgruntled and take a lengthy hiatus (like Cee Lo is soon planning to do). But then again, it's not like the producers needed to get into such shenanigans anyway: Cassadee and Terry are as close to shoo-ins as this season has.

For those of you having trouble keeping track of Taylor Swift's lovelife--and who could blame you?--the latest man with whom America's sweetheart has been romantically linked is actually a Brit: Harry Styles, from "X Factor U.K." boy band One Direction. But of course (as Conor Kennedy, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, et al would attest), it is probably only a matter of time before "Haylor" part ways and T.Swift records yet another autobiographical breakup ode about the whole whirlwind experience.

But guess what? Season 9 "American Idol" finalist Tim Urban has already beaten the girl to it, penning the Haylor-inspired original ballad "He Can Keep His Accent" and dedicating it to the future ex-couple. "There's a lot of people wondering what song she's going to write about him," Tim states in the introduction to his hilarious YouTube clip. "So I personally had an idea of what that song might sound like."

Most male pop stars would rather shave their heads than go prematurely gray, but of course, Adam Lambert is not like most male pop stars. Just-released, high-fashion photos from the British tastemaker glossy Fiasco feature the American Idol looking more like a classic matinee idol, with his pomade-slicked, silver-dyed coif, and these stunning shots may soon directly contribute to a severe drop-off in worldwide sales for Grecian Formula For Men. Glambert looks good in gray!
