Backstage At The Idols Live Tour In L.A.: Part 1

Last Friday, August 13, the Season 9 "American Idol" cast headed back to Los Angeles, the city where all their through-to-Hollywood dreams came true, to play one of their biggest dates on the Idols Live Tour, at the massive Staples Center (right across the street from the Nokia Theater, where the finale took place not so long ago). There, before the big show, I had the chance to catch up with them to discuss their on-the-road adventures and post-tour recording plans.

Unfortunately, Crystal Bowersox wasn't around since she was at some super-secret writing session, but I got to dish with Lee DeWyze (about his upcoming album, female fans, and his single status), Casey James (about groupies, shampoo, and his new Sony Nashville record deal), Michael Lynche (about his family life and intentions to record "babymaking music"), and Aaron Kelly (about growing up on TV and working in Nashville).

Check out part 1 of my backstage interviews below!
