Chris Mann’s “Roads”: Exclusive Audio Premiere!

Team Xtina's "Voice" finalist Chris Mann may have placed fourth in Season 2, but he just may have the best chance of becoming the "Voice" franchise's first bona fide breakout recording star. After already establishing an impressive pre-"Voice" career working with artists like Babyface, India.Arie, Idina Menzel, Katharine McPhee, and David Foster, and even appearing as a Warbler on "Glee," the affable popera singer is about to embark on his post-"Voice" career this month, releasing both his major-label debut, Roads, and a Walmart-only Christmas EP on Ron Fair's Faircraft/Universal Republic imprint.

And Reality Rocks is delighted to exclusively premiere the audio for "Roads," the first official single and title track from Chris's album. Mann fans, check it out below:

"The song is about the roads we travel in life and how sometimes they're easy and sometimes they're terrible, but they will always lead you home. As soon as I heard that, I had to sing the song," Chris tells Yahoo! Music. "I heard the song almost two years ago and I fell in love with it, and it just makes so much sense. It's like the stars aligned, because I have just done this very public journey on 'The Voice,' and I've talked about my struggle and how long it's taken to get here."

What do you think of Chris Mann's first single? Think he could be the next Josh Groban? Share your own voice on the message board below, and if you like what you hear above, head over to iTunes to pre-order Roads, which comes out October 30.
