Exclusive Video: ‘SYTYCD’ Fave Kent Boyd Guests on ‘Bunheads’

Kent Boyd & Julia Goldani Telles [photo: ABC Family]Season 7 runner-up Kent Boyd is arguably one of "So You Think You Can Dance's" most beloved alums, and he doesn't dance across my television screen nearly often enough. I'm still hoping he'll show up on "SYTYCD" at some point this season as an allstar, but until then, Boydheads like myself can get their fix via ABC Family's "Bunheads," which just cast Kent in a guest role as a cocky dancer named Jordan. Kent's "Bunheads" appearance doesn't air until August 6...but Reality Rocks has an exclusive clip from the episode right now!

In the scene, the Paradise Dance Academy is putting on a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers number for an upcoming recital, and Sasha (Julia Goldani Telles) and Jordan (Kent) show off their ballroom skills to the rest of the class. No wonder this Jordan character is so cocky. I would be too, if I could dance like this:

No word yet on if Kent's character will be expanded into a larger, more permanent role, but Kent recently told Wetpaint: "I talked to the director, and he was like, 'We really want to extend your character and see what happens.'"

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Kent dance every week, so hopefully this guest spot will lead to bigger and better things for the kid from Wapakoneta, Ohio.
