Well, this Tuesday night, "Dancing With The Stars" finally lived up to its title. On the show's results epsiode, the unimpeachable and untouchable Adele, whose "Rolling In The Deep" is being covered on every reality competition right now, showed everyone (yes, even Haley Reinhart) how it's done, by belting out her hit herself.
Obviously it's hard to improve upon the original. But somehow Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" became even more awesome this Tuesday--thanks to an accompanying routine choreographed by genius "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Travis Wall, and danced exquisitely by Travis, Season 1 "SYTYCD" winner Nick Lazzarini, and fellow "SYTYCD" vets Jaimie Goodwin and Chantel Aguirre.
Yes, this actually happened.
What a worlds-collide reality television moment. I'd been eagerly anticipating Season 8 of "So You Think You Can Dance," imagining what magic would take place once the likes of Mia Michaels or Sonia Tayeh got their hands on the latest Adele album. But thanks to Travis Wall and "DWTS," I didn't have to wait. Thanks, ABC!
