I can't believe they kept the kid who sang the Golden Ticket song, badly at that, but sent the next guy - who sang well - home. :(

I know right? Travis deserved to stay. It's a shame to see him go :(
      • jenny 3 months ago
Travis was way better than last year! why did they send him home???
      • kittysue 3 months ago
I enjoyed Travis' singing. I guess I could never be a viable judge on Idol!

I can't believe they kept the guy who sang the Golden Ticket song! He made a joke out of the whole thing and didn't even sound good but they sent that gorgeous guy with glasses who sang right after him home. All three judges need to have their heads examined! I'm disappointed with all three of them. He didn't deserve that.

I must agree Kei,I though the same thing he sucked and made fun of the i would think a serious moment of his career, but he won't amount to much anyway.

Every seems to like Travis, whats wrong with the judges. I think they should tell them why they are not keeping them. Still like AI better than the The Voice, or X Factor.

OMG. I wanted Travis to move on so badly. His family needs some help. I hope someone comes along (maybe a judge from the Bronx) to give Travis and his family a little help. And I agree the other two guys who made it in his round were not very good, in my opinion. Especially the Golden Ticket person. Sorry.

This is not Queen for A Day where the best sob story wins. They need to stop with the sob stories and just bring it with the singing.

Big Daddy, I whole heartedly agreee with you!!!

American Idol seems to be competing with the X Factor to become the worst show. I just want to hear them sing. Background and judges moments are not that important at this stage. Out of the 300 that made it thru, we saw about 50 of them sing.

American Idol lets a lot of the good ones go. And some of the not so good ones stay. But they always get weeded out eventually. The Voice has proved to be a pretty darned good way of picking a singer for their talent and not the overall look. Never judge a book by its cover when there is always more to a person than their looks.

I was rooting for Wolf. It was nice not having to listen to someone butchering a song for once.

Can not believe they sent Travis home! He was so much better than the Golden Ticket guy! Plus he is adorable...I wish they would bring him back!!!

I was surprised at some of the eliminations especially Travis. And Symone seemed dizzy or disoriented seconds before her fall. Wonder if she has some kind of condition because I don't think she was just being clumsy. And it was quite something hearing Nigel yelling, "Medic!" Can't wait for the group performance drama tonight!

Why do they even bother having a Hollywood week? Everyone who has gone through so far are the same ones we saw do best during the tryout weeks. It was a waste of time and money for most of these people even to go to Hollywood. I enjoy the talented young people, but this show needs a total makover on how they do things. It's too predicatable up until they start the countdown shows. They need somebody with imagination working on this show.

Sorry to say but these Judges have a slight hearing problem, the ones they sent home should have stayed absolutely. The ones they kept please, are you kidding me?

Symone appeared to be under the influence of something. I hope that she is indeed okay.

I stopped watching Idol long ago when singers, male and female began to sound the same. I'm not impressed.

all these people want to sound like black women.even the men.

I'd like to see AI eliminate group night. I really could care less how well they form as a team. It's all about each person's ability do what they came there to do - audition their singing talent The Voice and X-Factor focus strictly on the person's voice performance, not how well they team up. AI has let go far too many talented people during the group session because they all end up staying up all night, lose their voice, and they are tired.

Last year I stopped watching early in the season due to the horribly weak judging. Everyone was wonderful and beautiful, how constructive is that critique? How does a singer get better or brings his game up to the next level? So I skip the auditions and watch my first episode last night. Well it is my last episode for this season already. They kept that Grimm clown and let Travis go. This is not a singing competion anymore.

Reed Grimm, aka the Golden Ticket song guy is very talented and a great entertainer. What a breath of fresh air. Already the "groupies" are out in full force. You know, the ones who voted for Scotty last year, Kris a few years back, and remember Sanjaya? Makes me shake my head. Reed deserves to make it far this year.
