Ready, Set, Dance!: Webisode 3

Reality Rocks has covered dance shows for many seasons, and now Yahoo! Music has its own reality dance show, "Ready, Set, Dance!," for my blogging delight.

"Ready, Set, Dance!" is a new original dance competition series, in which two amateur-dancer contestants are warned that they will get a random phone call at any place, any time, from "RSD!" hostess Adrienne Bailon (of 3LW/Cheetah Girls fame), ordering them to break into a dance routine on the spot, while bystanders wonder WTH is going on. These dancers have no idea when that call will come in, but once it does, they have to get their groove on, no matter where they are at that moment. Then viewers will go to readysetdance.yahoo.com to vote for their preferred hoofer of the week, who'll be awarded 10,000 bucks.

This week's two "RSD!" contenders are "Joe Joe dancer"-slash-rock-drummer Joe, and Dianne, a specialist in her self-described dance style of "not-so-organized chaos." Joe was blindsided by Adrienne in NYC's Union Square park, where he showed off some pretty impressive gymnastic tricks, while Dianne was ordered to get down at Pier 66.

My vote definitely goes to Joe this week. Dianne worked the crowd and whipped her hair like Willow, but Joe took it to a whole other level with cartwheels, breakdancing, and using bystanders as props. But it's up to you, voters. Watch both dances below, then go to readysetdance.yahoo.com to vote for who you think should win the money this week.
