Snackin’ With Sarah Sellers: ‘Idol’ Hollywood Week Night 1 Viewing Nosh

Sarah in the kitchen [photo: Justin Goode]"American Idol" Season 10 alum and food blogger Sarah Sellers has been posting her viewing-party snack recipes in Reality Rocks for two "Idol" seasons now, and now she is back to get your mouth watering on every night of Season 12.

Tonight, "Idol" moves on to Hollywood Week, so Sarah was "inspired by the West Coast, with these fresh, quick, and easy appetizers."
Her tuna and avocado crisps should be the perfect California cuisine for tonight's viewing. Enjoy!

Avocado Tuna Crisps

Ingredients:
▪ 12oz sushi-grade ahi tuna, minced
▪ 1 tsp lime juice
▪ 1 tsp jalapeño, minced
▪ 2 tbsp cilantro, minced
▪ 2 tbsp scallions, minced
▪ 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
▪ 2 tsp sriracha
▪ 1/4 tsp kosher salt
▪ 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
▪ table crackers

In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients minus the crackers. Mix until well-combined. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly. Chill in the refrigerator for 45 minutes to an hour.

Spoon a tablespoon of the tuna onto the crackers and serve.

Bon appetit!
