On last night's top 12 "Voice" results show, Vedo went home — as I'd predicted — and so did Garrett Gardner, as many Reality Rocks readers predicted. (Congrats, readers.) Neither elimination was a huge surprise, although I was a little sad to see Garrett and his lip-ring go through the (w)ringer this soon.
Today, my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I can't help but observe that the first two top 12 finalists to get cut this season were on teams helmed by rookie coaches. Was this just bad beginners' luck for Usher and Shakira? Or are they really out of their depth going up against seasoned coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton? Matt and I discuss this — as well as Usher, Shakira, and original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green's futures on "The Voice" — in our latest chatfest.
