The Voice, The Day After: Top 8 Performances Dish

Last night, the top eight competed on "The Voice," and while some former frontrunners (Amanda Brown, Trevin Hunte, Terry McDermott, Melanie Martinez) didn't have their best nights, for various reasons, it was still an overall great episode. So today, my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I are having some real trouble predicting which two singers will go home tonight. And more importantly, we're annoyed that each week on "The Voice" has to have a double-elimination. Why can't just one contestant go home every Tuesday? It's too soon to say goodbye to two of these talented people.

Check out the chat above to watch me and Matt discuss last night's performances, how much iTunes chart rankings affect the show's results, and our predictions for who's going home tonight...and come back tomorrow to find out if we were right!
