‘Voice’ Star Cody Belew Brings Back The Bam-Bam In “Baby Get Out” Vid

Regular readers of Reality Rocks know I loved me some Cody Belew, the flamboyant rodeo soulman from Season 3 of "The Voice." The night he went home, after defying all odds to make it all the way to the top eight, was a sad night for me indeed. But happily, Cody is now bringing back the bam-bam with his brand-new video, "Baby Get Out."

The song is a duet with Meghan Linsey, of "Can You Duet" Season 2 winners Steel Magnolia, and it was co-penned by Cody and Meghan with Nashville producer Tyler Cain (who's worked with the likes of Thompson Square and Ashley Monroe). "Baby Get Out" is a gorgeous, keening country-pop ballad with a Lady Antebellum-meets-Ryan Adams vibe, and it certainly sounds like it could be a crossover-country hit.

However, Cody's forthcoming debut album may be more reminiscent overall of his infamous "Crazy In Love" performance on "The Voice," since he excitingly describes it as "music you'll want to rollerskate to." I don't know about you, but I'm already lacing up my quads in anticipation...

What do you think of Cody's new tune?
