Whataya Want From Pink? How About Her Version Of Glambert’s Hit?

When I first heard Adam Lambert's recording of his future single "Whataya Want From Me," co-penned by pop goddess Pink with Shellback and Max Martin, I honestly wondered why Pink had never elected to release her own version, recorded way back when Adam was just a speck of glitter in Simon Cowell's eye. I mean, it's an amazing, pretty much perfect pop song, and if she'd put it out herself, it undoubtedly would have been a massive hit.

Thankfully, Pink passed "WWFM" on to Adam, who did her proud and scored a huge hit with it himself. Pink's loss was Glambert's gain, but now everyone wins...because after memorably performing "WWFM" on several European dates, Pink is finally releasing her studio version on the international edition of her greatest-hits collection.

Yep, like I said, Pink made a big mistake giving this song up. But who sang it best? Well, that's kind of a moot debate. Pink and Adam, two of the finest belters working in pop today, both possess the vocal ranges to handle it magnificently; the arrangements on both recordings are practically identical; and a great ballad like "WWFM" is fairly impossible to muck up.

But I say there's only one true way to settle this matter: a singoff! What do I want from Pinkbert? A "WWFM" duet, stat. But until that happen in real-life, this fan-created mashup will have to do:
