Last night, "The X Factor" finally went live, as the top 16 contestants, four from each of the categories (Girls, Boys, Over 25's, and Groups), performed for spots in the top 12. Unfortunately, they didn't perform for the public's votes, so several contestants who may have had a chance otherwise were prematurely eliminated by their own coaches.
Granted, some of these coaches, namely Kelly Rowland (mentor of the very strong Over 25's) and Demi Lovato (mentor of the Girls) had very tough decisions to make, and they would have been accused of being "wrong" no matter which contestants they sent home. But today, my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield are still annoyed by some of last night's decisions.
Which coaches mucked things up? Who should have gone home instead? Which category is the strongest? And will there be a wild card? Join the debate by watching our latest chat below.
