Will.i.am: Fergie Is NOT Leaving The Black Eyed Peas

Fergie (Photo: Vittorio Zunino Celotto)Not to worry, Black Eyed Peas fans--frontwoman Fergie is not going to be replaced after she has her baby this year. Her bandmate Will.i.am is making sure everyone knows this is a false rumor.

"The rumors on @fergie being replaced are so false @PerezHilton & @TMZNEWSS_ is the furthest from the truth #BEP4ever #fergieROCKS...#family" he tweeted on Thursday.

Gossip king Perez Hilton took credit for exclusively breaking the story, and has not removed it from his blog. TMZ does not have a story on the matter up currently--it's unclear if they actually did at one point.

Still up in the air is whether Fergie is working on a new solo album--or will take time off to concentrate on that particular work--as Hilton also reported in his item.

Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel revealed her pregnancy in February. No due date has been announced.
