Anita Baker (photo: Shareif Ziyadat)Baker's jazzy "Lately" is a remake of Tyrese's 1998 ballad that appears on his self-titled debut. SWV's "If Only You Knew" was originally recorded by Patti LaBelle and reached Number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1983.

Tyrese, whose "Open Invitation" set was nominated for Best R&B Album, described the acknowledgment as a career highlight. "This is truly one of the greatest nights of my life," he said in a post on Instagram.

Coko Clemons, lead singer for SWV, Tweeted about the honor. "I'm so hyped & excited right now for @LeleeLyons @TajGeorge & myself!!! #GrammyNod!" she wrote.

She was disappointed, however, that she could not celebrate the news with her husband. "Wish I could share with @bigmikeclemons but he's on a flt to Nigeria! Ugh!! He produced that record!!" she posted.
