Ex-Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir collapsed onstage April 25, two songs into the second set by his band Furthur. The group, a Grateful Dead offshoot that also features bassist Phil Lesh, was playing the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on the last night of a nine-concert residency.

Beyoncé knows business. The R&B superstar again combines her music and her reach as an A-list pitchwoman in the new video for her song "Standing on the Sun." The clip doubles as H&M's ad for its summer collection 2013, which includes bikinis Beyonce wears in the video.
In the 90-second "Standing on the Sun" video, Beyoncé rocks both blonde and black hairstyles, dances in the sand in a two-piece black bikini, hits the beach in a blue tied-died ensemblem and sports a black one-piece suit as fire surrounds her during a night scene.

Hill at her April 22 court date [photo: Kena Betancur/Getty]With less than two weeks left to pay $504,400 in back taxes to the IRS, Lauryn Hill has spoken up for the first time about her financial situation and her new recording contract.
In a post on her Tumblr page Thursday night, Hill confirmed reports that she has signed with Sony Music and is working on her first new music since her 2010 single "Repercussions," and her first multi-song studio release since her 1998 solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
"It took years for me to get out of the 'parasitic' dynamic of my youth, and into a deal that better reflects my true contribution as an artist, and (purportedly) gives me the control necessary to create a paradigm suitable for my needs," Hill wrote. "I have been working towards this for a long time, not just because of my current legal situation, but because I am an artist, I love to create, and I need the proper platform to do so."

Bublé sang "Who's Lovin' You" off of his new album To Be Loved, accompanied by a cappella group Naturally 7. He explained afterwards that he was elated by the experience. "Singing in the New York subway is something that's been done for years and years, and I feel like it's the most authentic, organic way to make music," he noted.

For more than 10 years, Neil Diamond’s single "Sweet Caroline" has played over the loudspeakers at Boston Red Sox home games during the seventh inning stretch. In a gesture to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, people bought the song in droves last week, boosting sales of the tune 597 percent to 19,000 copies for the week, reported Nielsen SoundScan. Now, in a genuine good will effort, Diamond is donating all of the money to marathon bombing victims.
With iTunes selling the track at $1.29 and competitor eMusic selling it for 79 cents, Diamond’s total donation should average out somewhere between $15,010 and $24,510.

(Reuters) - Sweden's Alexander Edler was suspended for the rest of the ice hockey world championships on Friday for a knee-on-knee hit that injured Canada captain Eric Staal. Edler collided with Staal in the first period of Thursday's quarter-final in Stockholm, leaving the Canadian forward on the ice in visible pain and clutching his right knee.
