While Fred Armisen hasn't officially announced his "Saturday Night Live" departure after 11 seasons, his last skit on this weekend's "SNL" finale certainly seemed like the most rock 'n' roll "SNL" goodbye ever. Yes, even more than that time Mick Jagger serenaded the exiting Kristen Wiig on "SNL" last year.

That's right, Ms. Spears has revealed her new track, "Ooh La La," which will be featured on the soundtrack for The Smurfs 2, which opens on July 31.

The song begins with that sweet and innocent voice we all fell in love with years ago before ratcheting it up with an aggressive rap/chant section and electronic effects, and then returning to that sugary-sweet classic Brit in the chorus.

For weeks now, the Black Sabbath promotions department has been reminding fans and the press that the season finale of "CSI" would include a snippet of a song from Black Sabbath’s new album, 13, which comes out June 11.

On Wednesday, Universal Republic Records made good on their word, and fans didn't even have to wait long to see the heavy metal legends in action — or at least lip-syncing the new song. Viewers who tuned in late, figuring Sabbath would be saved for the end of the show, missed the whole thing.

Slayer has announced that there will be a public memorial to commemorate the band's late guitarist Jeff Hanneman on May 23. It'll take place at Los Angeles's Hollywood Palladium from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend, and will be admitted on a first come, first-in basis until the venue is full.

The Jeff Hanneman Memorial Celebration will be an opportunity for Hanneman’s family, friends, and fans to reflect over the guitarist’s colorful personality and considerable musical accomplishments.
