Johnny Rotten) seems to have matured a bit since the halcyon days of punk when he derisively sneered anarchic lyrics including, "God save the Queen/She ain’t no human being" ("God Save the Queen"). While he also struck out against former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who died of a stroke on Monday at the age of 87, he is disgusted by the groups around the UK celebrating the Iron Lady’s death.

"I'm not happy about the boo boo parties,” Lydon told the Daily Mail. "... Her politics were really dreadful and derisive and caused a great many issues for me when I was young, for all of us trying to go through that. But that don't mean (sic) I am gonna dance on her grave, as they say. I'm not that kind of person."

Madonna may be pop royalty in much of the world, but apparently that standing doesn't hold water in Malawi.

The Material Mom is in a beef with the leaders of the African nation after her trip to the country last week. Officials there said she was acting like a diva, demanding VIP treatment.

The Malawi government says in a statement that Madonna believed that leadership there "should have rolled out a red carpet and blast the 21-gun salute in her honour." The lengthy statement goes on to acknowledge that Madonna has adopted two children from the country, but says "this gesture was humanitarian and of her accord. It, therefore, comes across as strange and depressing that for a humanitarian act, prompted only by her, Madonna wants Malawi to be forever chained to obligation of gratitude."

Mick Fleetwood's marriage of 17 years has hit the skids just as his band has hit the road on its first tour in three years.

The band's namesake drummer filed for separation from Lynn Frankel Fleetwood on March 22, but it was only made public on Tuesday. The Fleetwoods were married in July 1995 and are the parents of twin 11-year-old girls. In the filing, Fleetwood requests that the children live with their mother in Woodland Hills, Calif., but he's seeking joint legal custody. Fleetwood also has a home in Maui, Hawaii.
