Stop The Presses!
  • Anyone looking for R-rated revelations during Axl Rose's surprisingly tame first live TV interview in more than 20 years, which took place on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show Wednesday night, was bound to be a bit disappointed. However, the Guns N' Roses frontman did disclose one juicy tidbit, which he claimed was "one of the most evil things" he'd ever done in his life.

Don't worry, mom and dad. It turned out be merely to be a Halloween prank. In the spirit of the upcoming holiday, Rose showed Kimmel a photo of his annual "Halloween tree" he'd put up for Halloween parties--basically, a Christmas tree in black-and-orange decor--and noted how he'd punk unsuspecting parents who came to visit with their kids. When the tree was spotted, Rose would pretend that everyone out there had a Halloween tree...all except the poor kiddies who came to call, of course.

"I'd go  'What?! You don't have a Halloween tree?' and I'd give [the kids] a present," Rose quipped, faking a shocked face. "Parents would call me for about three months and say 'You son of a...'"

  • The last time the Rolling Stones toured, there wasn't quite as much of a panic over tickets. But then, that previous trek involved 147 shows.

    This year's tour? Four gigs.

The Stones (Photo by Getty Images)No wonder there's an international mania to get into the group's arena shows in London Nov. 25 and 29 and New Jersey on Dec. 13 and 15. Tickets for the two Newark gigs haven't yet gone on sale. But it's already "As Tears Go By" time for the millions of fans who tried and failed to get the 30,000 or so tickets that went up for grabs Friday for the  two O2 Arena shows in Britannia.

Just remember, though, hope is never lost… if you're Donald Trump. Because there's always the secondary market, where scalpers are already asking record sums. It's been reported that the Getmein.com website has tickets listed for up to $21,120, although it's hard to imagine any seat that is not actually on Mick Jagger's lap going for a penny over 20K.

These exaggerated fees won't go to the Stones themselves. Face values for the London tickets

  • Madonna (Photo: David Becker)Did Madonna display a galling lack of judgment...or was she merely taking the whole theme of "Express Yourself" to heart? Either way, the iconic entertainer certainly offended some of her fans in Denver Thursday night when she started off her show with a scene involving guns and simulated shooting into the crowd.

Madonna's used the gun-firing skit--which was described on local news KUSA's Facebook account by various fans as graphic and including "a blood-spattered screen"--on previous tour dates. However, of course, Denver is a sensitive city in which to perform such theatrics, given the tragic mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado just three months ago that claimed 12 lives.
